Job summary

Guidehouse India is seeking a QA Tester to ensure quality, functionality, accessibility, and performance of websites built on Sitecore AI. You will plan and execute manual and automated testing across web pages, APIs, and integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable digital experiences.

You will develop test plans, expand automation coverage, and integrate tests into CI/CD, while documenting defects and ensuring release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of software QA experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on testing of websites/web apps with modern QA methods and lifecycle.
• Experience with web automation frameworks and scripting languages is required.

Job Family:Software Application & Development (India)Travel Required:NoneClearance Required:NoneWhat You Will Do:We are seeking a QA Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, accessibility, and performance of websites built on Sitecore AI and related digital experience technologies. In this role, you will plan and execute manual and automated testing across web pages, components, forms, content workflows, APIs, integrations, and releases. You will work closely with developers, content authors, product owners, designers, and delivery partners to identify defects early, expand automated test coverage, and deliver reliable, secure, and user-friendly digital experiences across browsers, devices, and environments.Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data for Sitecore AI websites, features, components, forms, content updates, integrations, and releases.Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, integration, end-to-end, cross-browser, responsive, accessibility, performance, and visual testing across supported environments.Build, maintain, and improve automated tests for critical website journeys, reusable components, APIs, and regression scenarios using modern web test automation frameworks.Validate Sitecore AI authoring experiences, page and component configuration, content publishing, personalization, search, forms, analytics tagging, consent behavior, and third-party integrations.Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and review results to support release readiness and rapid defect detection.Document defects with clear reproduction steps, expected and actual results, screenshots or logs, severity, and business impact; verify fixes through retesting and regression testing.Partner with developers, designers, content teams, and product owners to clarify acceptance criteria, identify test risks, and improve testability early in the delivery lifecycle.Create and maintain reusable automation utilities, page objects, test fixtures, test data, and reporting that improve test reliability and reduce manual effort.Track test execution, automation coverage, defect trends, escaped defects, and release quality metrics, and communicate findings and risks clearly to stakeholders.Contribute to quality standards, test documentation, peer reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of website testing practices.What You Will Need:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.At least 4 years of experience in software quality assurance, with hands-on responsibility for testing websites or web applications in enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of QA methods, the software development lifecycle, test design techniques, defect management, risk-based testing, and release validation.Hands-on experience creating and maintaining web test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, or equivalent technologies.Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and working knowledge of another scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, or C#.Experience testing modern websites and web applications, including responsive layouts, reusable components, navigation, search, forms, content publishing, APIs, and third-party integrations.Experience with API testing tools and techniques, including request validation, response validation, authentication, error handling, and integration scenarios.Experience with Git-based workflows, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, automated test execution, test reporting, and quality gates.Ability to use browser developer tools, logs, network traces, and test evidence to isolate and communicate website defects effectively.Experience validating cross-browser and cross-device behavior, accessibility, performance, security-related requirements, analytics tagging, and production readiness.Ability to write clear test cases, automation code, defect reports, test summaries, and release-quality recommendations.Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid, cross-functional delivery environment.Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, review test assets, troubleshoot failures, and share testing and automation knowledge with team members.What Would Be Nice to Have:Hands-on testing experience with Sitecore AI, Sitecore XM Cloud, Experience Edge, or another composable digital experience platform.Experience testing React and Next.js websites deployed through Vercel, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud platform.Experience with Selenium, REST clients, accessibility testing tools, visual regression tools, and performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.Experience designing maintainable automation frameworks using page objects, fixtures, data-driven testing, mocking, parallel execution, retry strategies, and actionable reporting.Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jira, test management platforms, and browser or device testing services.Relevant certification in Sitecore, software testing, test automation, accessibility, cloud technologies, or web quality engineering.Experience testing high-traffic, multilingual, personalized, or regulated enterprise websites and coordinating quality activities with distributed delivery teams.About Guidehouse IndiaAt Guidehouse India, we’re redefining what’s possible by creating opportunities that change lives.
