Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru invites an experienced Test Automation Engineer (6+ years) to lead automation initiatives across UI, API, and performance testing. You will design reusable frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and REST Assured, and drive automated and manual testing across multiple environments.

You will promote TDD/BDD, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps), collaborate with DevOps and product owners, and apply feedback from production to improve test coverage.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance roles with automation testing
• Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit)
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, testing integrations, end-to-end system processes and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy covering all application layers UI, API, database, and integration points
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and REST Assured
• Lead the execution of both automated and manual test cases across multiple test environments to ensure high-quality releases
• Encourage and implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with DevOps and POs to embed performance and security testing into the QA process
• Conduct non-functional testing using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner to assess system performance and reliability
• Incorporate feedback from production incidents to improve test coverage and system resilience
• Working experience in Scrum or Kanban environments
