Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Project Lead – QA/QC – Site to oversee the quality function across civil, structural, MEP, and finishing works. You will implement quality plans, ensure compliance with specifications, and mentor quality teams while interfacing with execution, client, and consultant representatives.

The role requires leading inspections, testing protocols, and timely approvals, with a focus on preventing non-conformances and aligning with ISO 9001 guidelines on a major construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience leading QA/QC on construction projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project-specific QA/QC plan.
• Lead the QA/QC team at the site and coordinate with execution, client and consultant representatives.
• Oversee stage-wise inspections and approvals including reinforcement checks, shuttering, concrete pouring, blockwork, plastering, tiling, painting, structural steel erection and MEP installations.
• Identify and address non-conformances by initiating NCRs, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing CAPA.

Job Description

The Project Lead – QA/QC – Site is responsible for leading the quality function for the entire project, encompassing civil, structural, MEP, and finishing works. The role ensures robust implementation of quality plans, adherence to specifications, timely inspections, testing protocols, and compliance with regulatory, client, and organizational standards. The role also involves mentoring quality teams and interfacing with execution, client, and consultant representatives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelop and implement the project-specific quality assurance and control plan, in alignment with corporate quality policies, contract specifications, and ISO 9001 guidelines.Lead and manage the entire QA/QC team at the project site, allocating responsibilities, reviewing inspection reports, and ensuring effective coordination across construction disciplines.Oversee stage-wise inspections and approvals, including reinforcement checks, shuttering, concrete pouring, blockwork, plastering, tiling, painting, structural steel erection, and MEP installations.Ensure timely inspection and testing of incoming materials, verifying test certificates, managing sampling procedures, and coordinating with third-party labs for compliance verification.Identify and address non-conformances proactively, by initiating NCRs, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
