Job summary

IQWorks Technologies Private Limited seeks a QA Lead to own quality across our platform and build the testing function from the ground up. You’ll define QA strategy, implement automated testing, and establish processes that enable fast yet trustworthy releases for enterprise-grade data protection.

You will write and maintain automated tests, guide the team on testing mindset, and collaborate with engineering and product to catch issues early. A high-ownership role for a quality-focused leader.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA or software testing, including experience leading testing efforts or a team.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern test automation across web applications and APIs, writing automation in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Solid grasp of testing strategy — what to automate, what to test manually, and how to prioritize.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Effective use of AI as a force multiplier across the testing workflow with human oversight where essential.

• Track, triage, and drive resolution of defects with clear reporting to the team.
• Test for correctness, data isolation, and security in a product that handles sensitive data.
• Grow and mentor a QA team as the company scales.

Job description

As QA Lead at IQWorks, you will own quality across our platform and build the testing function from the ground up. You will define the QA strategy, stand up automated testing across the product, and put the processes in place that let us ship fast without breaking trust — which matters especially for a product that enterprises rely on to protect sensitive data. You will be hands-on writing and maintaining automated tests, and you will shape how the whole team thinks about quality, from pull request to production. You will work closely with engineering and product to catch issues early, and you will grow a QA team as the company scales. This is a high-ownership role for someone who treats quality as a product feature, not an afterthought.

Requirements

• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Effective use of AI as a force multiplier across the testing workflow — generating, maintaining, and triaging tests — with sharp judgment about where human oversight is essential so quality is never compromised
• Strong attention to detail and a track record of catching issues others miss
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with engineers and product
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
