Job summary

Eclatron is seeking a software test engineer to design and execute comprehensive testing across functional, integration, and end-to-end scenarios in a global Agile setting.

You will build robust automation using Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium, collaborate with development teams, and contribute to quality metrics and release validation.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software testing experience.
• Hands-on with manual and automated testing.
• Proficient in Robot Framework and Python for automation.
• Experience with Selenium for UI automation.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.
• Familiar with Azure DevOps / Azure Pipelines.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans or Jira.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases covering functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using Robot Framework, Python, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, identify defects, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely issue resolution with development teams.
• Maintain and enhance regression test coverage, automation stability, and overall test effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global Agile teams in requirement analysis, sprint planning, test estimation, test reviews, and release validation.
• Maintain test documentation, traceability, and quality metrics while driving continuous improvement in testing practices.
• Support hardware-software integration testing, communication validation, and system-level verification.

Job description

Required Experience & Skills

• Experience with Selenium or similar UI automation tools for desktop and web-based applications.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, defect management, and quality assurance best practices.
• Experience with Git and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, or similar tools for test execution and automation integration is desirable.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps Test Plans, Jira, or equivalent platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, drive systems, embedded software, hardware-software integration, or device communication is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in global and cross-functional teams.
