Job summary

nCircle Tech Private Limited in Pune is seeking a QA engineer specialized in CAD/PDM/PLM testing to ensure product quality across desktop, mobile, and cloud components. You will prepare test specifications, set up environments, conduct manual and automated tests, analyze failures, and contribute to release assessments and benchmarks.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, and expert knowledge of NX, Solid Edge, Creo, CATIA V5, SolidWorks, Teamcenter, and Teamcenter

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience with QA and testing of CAD/PDM/PLM product.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Expert level knowledge of leading CAD and PLM systems like NX, Solid Edge, Creo, CATIA V5, Solidworks, Teamcenter, Teamcenter Visualization would be required
• Prior QA experience with NX and Teamcenter would be a plus.
• Knowledge about CAD software quality assurance process both manual and automated would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer-oriented test specifications and test cases for CAD/PDM/PLM products.
• Set up test environments including CAD and Teamcenter configurations.
• Perform manual functional testing, performance testing, usability testing and regression testing.
• Contribute to automated testing to reduce repetitive manual tests.
• Prepare release assessment reports for release management.
• Participate in benchmark activities.

Job Description

• Prepare customer-oriented test specifications and test cases, creates, and validates test data for assigned projects and products as per the customer workflow
  
• Setup up test environment for testing, including CAD and Teamcenter installation and configuration required for validation Perform manual functional testing, performance testing, usability testing and system integration regression testing of translators for assigned projects and products
  
• Contribute to automated functional and performance testing process and automating repetitive manual tests.
  
• Author project acceptance testcases.
  
• Perform pre-integration and post-integration testing
  
• Perform PR analysis and validation for assigned products
  
• Help development team to reproduce the PR and validate the fixes
  
• Perform Product validation for monthly product updates, patches and hot fixes
  
• Perform system integration testing for assigned products
  
• Validate product installers and licenses
  
• Review requirement and functional specification and provide feedback from testing perspective
  
• Execute automated tests, perform failure analysis and report to development
  
• Test suite management – Adding new cases to autotest suite, performance test suite etc.
  
• Prepare release assessment reports for release management
  
• Participate in benchmark activities
  
• Well skilled with broad proficiency
  

Requirements
