Job summary

Incedo is seeking an experienced automation tester in Hyderabad, India, to build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.

The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of automation experience across different types of testing, including API and functional testing with skills in AWS and SQL to validate cloud deployments.

The role emphasizes proficiency in Java, TestNG, and Playwright for web application testing.

Job Description

Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining Selenium WebDriver automation frameworks using Java. Proficiency in TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and design patterns (POM, Factory).

Test Automation

Minimum 6+ years of automation experience across functional, regression, and API testing. Experience with REST Assured or similar API testing libraries. CI/CD integration is a must.

Playwright with TypeScript

Hands-on experience with Playwright for modern web application testing using TypeScript. Knowledge of async/await patterns, fixtures, and Playwright Test runner.

AWS (Amazon Web Services)

Practical experience with AWS services relevant to testing including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, SQS, and SNS. Ability to provision test environments and validate cloud deployments.

SQL & Database Testing

Strong command of SQL for writing complex queries, stored procedures, and data validation scripts. Experience in testing relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server) to verify data integrity, ETL pipelines, and backend business logic.
