Our customers are leading brands such as AXA, Johnson & Johnson and Telefonica O2. We are a scale up company looking for an exceptional individual to join us as a Senior Software Developer. This role will be based in Gurugram.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership for the QA process including monthly releases
• Challenge product development team to optimize performance value for clients
• Ability to work productively in a dynamic, priority shifting, deadline-driven environment with no/minimum supervision
• Review and analyze business and system, execute test casest
• Maintenance of current automation system
• Improving the level of automated test coverages, using the industry standard Selenium tool
• Create logs, report bugs, system integration, maintain status and follow up on JIRA issues/stories/epics and User Experience Testing
• Ensure thorough manual/automated regression testing is performed when bugs are resolved
• Perform End to End testing
• Impact analysis, risk flagging in the early stage of QA, and risk mitigation
• Keen to work in a challenging environment
• Prepare QA plan and test case funnel based on sprint requirements
• Self-initiative in reading and learning about new technologies, other modules of the application, newer and better ways of doing things
• Good teamwork, positive and constructive collaboration and communication with everybody
• Lead QA process
• Ready to lead on maintenance of JIRA Sprint and JIRA dashboard
• Maintenance of Test Cases and Regression pack

Skills

• The candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, GUI testing, functional testing and load testing
• The candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, GUI testing, functional testing and load testing
• Knowledge in various test development and design methodologies
• Good hands-on knowledge on SQL
• Hands-on experience in working with REST APIs
• Experience in GIT, SSH will be highly valued
• Hands-on experience on Unix based platforms like Ubuntu,Fedora,Redhat
• Knowledge in any scripting skills (shell, bash)
• Experience in test case writing, execution of test cases, defect reporting and test management tools like JIRA, defect tracking tools like Bugzilla or Bugnet, bug reporting etc
• Strong Test coverage
• Experience working in an Agile development process
• Experience with TDD, BDD design architectures
• A track record of working with a SaaS product team, either in a start up or scale up business. Good communication skills and proactiveness
• Security and Penetration Testing
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC concepts. Ability to effectively prioritize assignments as well as unplanned issues
• Strong experience in QA of web-based applications (website, mobile) is a must
• Candidate should be ready to relocate to Gurgaon if required
• Support Monthly Releases held on Saturdays from home
