Job summary

A technology company in Hyderabad is seeking a QA - Cloud (AWS) Tester with 4+ years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for testing AWS APIs, developing automation scripts, and ensuring quality through effective test plans. Proficiency in Python and experience with CI/CD practices are essential. This role requires working from the client office and offers a full-time position.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in a SDET role.
• Experience in CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins & AWS Code Commit.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end automation scripts with test tools.
• Write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Job Description

• Bachelors in computer science, or 4-6 years’ experience in a SDET role.
• Experience with Restful API testing (postman tool)
• Experience in AWS API test automation with AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Codebuild along with Postman.
• Experience & hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (preferably Jenkins & AWS Code Commit)
• Hands-on Experience with Python for simulator device testing
• Good to have Docker Containers understanding
• Demonstrate experience in developing end-to-end automation scripts with test tools – SOAP UI and JMeter
• Strong problem-solving skills; adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership.
• Experience in common source code control systems (e.g. git).
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience understanding customer requirements to develop testing approaches for improving usability, functionality, and consistency with a focus on the end user experience.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AWS CI/CD pipeline
• Experience in AWS lambda function unit testing
