Evertz India is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join the Overture QA team and help deliver high-quality software for global broadcast platforms. You will develop, maintain and execute automated tests using Python, analyze failures, collaborate with India and Canada colleagues, and contribute to automation strategy in a hybrid/remote model from Bangalore, India.

Experience with Linux, Bash scripting and AWS is valued, and you will report bugs with clear documentation and work toward expanding

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of proven working experience as a QA engineer.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Familiarity with software testing processes (ISTQB Foundation, or equivalent).
• Ability to work with Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) OS; system administrator-level skills would be a plus.
• Experience with bash coding.
• Willingness to learn a huge system with hardware and software interactions.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Familiarity with AWS.

As a QA Automation Engineer at Evertz India, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable software solutions that power broadcast technology globally. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to software quality through test automation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support continuous improvement in a dynamic, technology-driven environment spanning India and Canada.

As part of the Overture QA team, you will:

• Test complex software
