Job Description – QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong Python programming skills and hands-on experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building scalable automation frameworks, writing maintainable test scripts, and leveraging AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Build and execute UI and API automation tests using Selenium and Pytest.
• Develop and maintain BDD (Behavior Driven Development) automation frameworks and test scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high quality software releases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and improve test stability.
• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
• Leverage AIpowered tools to accelerate test development, improve code quality, and increase automation coverage.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Handson experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Pytest BDD, Behave, or similar).
• Strong understanding of automation framework design, software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience using AI powered development tools (such as Cursor, Claude or ChatGPT) to improve test automation development and productivity.
• Knowledge of API automation and REST API testing.
• Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable automation code.
• Good communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
