Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Chennai, India seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright, focusing on banking apps.

You will execute UI, API, regression, and end-to-end tests, build reusable components, and collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines. At least 4 years in testing and automation required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and test management processes.
• Hands-on experience in Test Automation using Selenium and Playwright.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or TypeScript for automation development.
• Experience in designing automation frameworks such as Data-Driven, Hybrid, and Page Object Model (POM) frameworks.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent technologies.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Prior experience working in the Banking domain is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Triple-A Plus and/or Temenos T24 (T24 Core Banking) will be an added advantage.
