Job Title: Functional QA Tester – Game Testing (Night Shift / US Shift)
Experience: 1–2 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Functional QA Tester with hands-on experience in game testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance. This role requires flexibility to work in night shifts aligned with US time zones.

Responsibilities
  • Perform functional, regression, and UI testing across web and mobile gaming applications.
  • Validate gameplay mechanics, UI/UX elements, scoring logic, animations, and in-game interactions.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Reproduce reported issues, verify fixes, and ensure proper defect closure.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Execute test cases, scenarios, and checklists as per project requirements.
  • Conduct compatibility testing across devices, screen sizes, browsers, and operating systems.
  • Participate in test case reviews and contribute to process improvements.
  • Provide daily/weekly QA status reports aligned with US working hours.
  • Actively engage in discussions through effective listening, clear communication, and timely acknowledgment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in functional testing, with exposure to game testing (web or mobile).
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience in testing interactive applications (2D/3D games, simulations, or similar).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello, etc.).
  • Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Highly proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work night shifts (US hours) on a regular basis.
