Job summary

Capgemini Hyderabad is seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to develop and maintain robust automation scripts in Python, ensuring reliable product quality.

You will design and enhance test automation frameworks using PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar tools, and perform comprehensive API testing.

Work closely with developers in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and document results to support quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python.
• Design and enhance test automation frameworks using PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar tools.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Python libraries.
• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
