Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru, India seeks a Python Consultant to work on OpenSystem projects, delivering Python-based solutions and driving digital transformation for clients.

You will engage in designing solutions, planning configurations, demonstrations, and POC/workshops while leading small projects to ensure high-quality value delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be able to develop value-creating strategies and models for clients to innovate and grow.
• Knowledge of software configuration management systems is required.
• Awareness of latest technologies and industry trends is essential.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving with collaboration ability.
• Understanding of financial processes for various project types and pricing models.
• Ability to assess current processes, identify improvements and propose technology solutions.
• Some domain knowledge in one or two industries is expected.
• Excellent client interfacing skills.
• Experience in project and team management.

Responsibilities

• As part of Infosys consulting team, address core customer issues, diagnose problems, design innovative solutions and enable deployment for client satisfaction.
• Develop proposals by contributing to solution design based on areas of expertise.
• Plan configuration activities, configure products per design, conduct conference room pilots and resolve requirements and design queries.
• Conduct solution/product demonstrations and POC workshops, prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgets and guidelines.
• Lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives delivering high-quality value-added solutions.

A day in the life of an Infoscion:

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design.
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines.
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
