Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.
• Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks (Flask/Django REST).
• Solid experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in SQL and database performance tuning.
• Experience with Git and version control.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
• Build scalable and secure backend services hosted on AWS
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries using Amazon Aurora (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of applications
• Integrate third-party services and APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Implement logging, monitoring, and error handling
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems
