Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a senior Python developer to design, build and deploy Generative AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will work with Vertex AI, Pipelines and Model Garden to deliver scalable AI applications and APIs in collaboration with business and tech teams.

You will implement RESTful APIs with OpenAPI standards, optimize performance, and contribute to cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with GCP Vertex AI, Pipelines, and Model Garden.
• Proven API development, integration, and OpenAPI documentation experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in an Agile environment.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on expertise in Python.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI application development.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Vertex AI, Vertex AI Pipelines, and Model Garden.
• Proven experience in API development, integration, and documentation.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications and RESTful API design principles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile and fast‑paced environment.

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to MLOps, AI model deployment, and monitoring frameworks.
