We are looking for an experienced GCP (Google Cloud Platform), BigQuery, and Python Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Google Cloud technologies, specifically BigQuery, and a strong background in Python programming.

This role requires hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions on GCP, with a focus on data warehousing, ETL processes, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines using GCP services, particularly BigQuery, for efficient data processing, analysis, and storage.
• Develop Python-based scripts and applications to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Build and optimize BigQuery datasets, ensuring high performance and cost-effectiveness for large-scale data analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality and consistency across platforms.
• Use GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub to design scalable and reliable data architectures.
• Implement data security measures, access controls, and best practices in GCP environments.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BigQuery and other data visualization tools to provide actionable insights.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of data pipelines and GCP infrastructure.
• Stay updated with the latest GCP features, Python libraries, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in developing and managing data solutions, with at least 2 years on GCP.
• Expertise in Google BigQuery: building tables, writing complex SQL queries, optimizing performance, and managing costs.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming, with experience in developing ETL pipelines and automating data workflows.
• Experience with GCP tools and services such as Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow.
• Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write optimized queries for large datasets.
• Experience in integrating and migrating data from different sources into BigQuery.
• Knowledge of data security best practices in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with APIs and RESTful services for data integration.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with machine learning or data science on GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Certifications in GCP (e.g., Google Cloud Certified: Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
