Job summary

Synechron in Gurugram, India, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure stability and uptime of applications, drive compliance, and automate manual tasks.

The ideal candidate brings extensive AWS experience (CloudFormation, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS), strong security by design principles, and hands-on expertise with monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch) and CI/CD/GitOps (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD). The role requires 3 days weekly in the Gurugram office.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Secrets Management, Vulnerability Patching, Certificate Lifecycle, Software/Application upgrades, Tech Resiliency.
• Extensive experience addressing risk control metrics such as password rotations, obsolescence, user access management.
• Strong background in automating manual processes.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools e.g. Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Building, deploying, and maintaining AWS components using CloudFormation e.g. EC2, S3, IAM, Lambdas, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of Secure by design principles.
• GitOps and CI/CD experience e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, ArgoCD.
• Experience performing cleanup/decommissioning activities.
• Capability to perform L1/L2 on-call support functions.
