Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• You will work with the team to understand the requirements and design and develop algorithms & engines rules using Python.
• You will use BigQuery as the backend, utilizing not only generic SQL/DB entities and operations but also BQ specific operations.
• You will be writing bash / PowerShell scripts.
• You will develop APIs using the Flask framework and implement data ingestion pipelines to handle large volumes of data from various upstream sources.
• You will implement unit tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
• You will analyze system issues and debug/track/resolve them effectively.

Experience needed:

• 7+ years experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code in mainstream Python.
• 7+ years of experience in writing PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• 5+ years of experience in developing applications using web frameworks such as Flask.
• 5+ years experience deploying and releasing software using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience in data handling, management, and ETL processes.
• 3+ years experience with data extraction using API calls.
• 1+ year of experience with big data processing solutions using BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, and others.
• Proficiency in using source code control management systems like GitHub.
• Any experience with Angular will be an added advantage.
• Any experience with Looker Studio will be an added advantage.
