Job summary

PwC India is seeking a capable backend developer to design and maintain scalable services using Python, FastAPI and Django. You will build robust APIs, integrate frontends with backend systems, and support AI/ML features for intelligent automation.

The role also involves contributing to product design, solution architecture, and cloud deployments on Microsoft Azure with emphasis on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in backend development with Python and frameworks.
• Hands-on work with FastAPI, Django and ORM to build scalable services.
• Experience in UI development using React/Angular and API integration.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration and generative AI concepts is desirable.
• Involvement in product design, architecture, and cloud-native practices on Azure.

Role & responsibilities:

• Backend Development:Develop and maintain robust backend applications usingPython, with strong hands-on experience inFastAPI,Djangoand ORM frameworks as well, ensuring scalable and high-performance solutions. Exposure toAI-assisted development tools and practicesfor improving engineering productivity and code quality is desirable.
• UI Development & End-to-End Integration:Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using frameworks such asReact,Angular, or similar technologies, and deliver end-to-end solutions by seamlessly integrating frontend applications with backend services, APIs.
