About the Role

We’re hiring a Python Backend Developer who’s confident working with frameworks like FastAPI and Flask, and has hands‑on experience with MongoDB. In this role, you’ll design and build scalable backend services that power our core learning and career platforms.

You’ll work closely with front‑end developers, product designers, and QA engineers to deliver reliable, high‑performance APIs and backend logic. This role is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of strong backend development experience, who enjoys clean architecture, performance tuning, and working in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python (FastAPI/Flask)
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend, mobile, and third‑party systems
• Work with MongoDB for data modeling, query optimization, and schema design
• Write clean, testable, and well‑documented code following best practices
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of backend services
• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA engineers
• Troubleshoot bugs, identify bottlenecks, and implement long‑term fixes
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Certifications in Python or backend development are a bonus

What You Bring

• 2-4 years of backend development experience using Python
• Proficiency in FastAPI and/or Flask frameworks
• Strong understanding of REST API design, security, and integration
• Experience working with MongoDB (Mongoose, indexes, aggregation pipelines, etc.)
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments
• Ability to write unit and integration tests using Pytest or similar frameworks
• Clear understanding of asynchronous programming and performance tuning in Python
