Job summary

Zensar in Pune is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain robust server-side code using Python and FastAPI.

You will develop high-performance APIs with FastAPI, integrate with AWS services like SQS and Lambda, and collaborate with frontend teams using React or Angular.

The role covers database management with MongoDB, AI integration and prompt engineering, system architecture, DevOps practices, and Agile teamwork with Jira and Git.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining server-side code in Python with FastAPI.
• Experience building APIs and integrating with cloud services (AWS).
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React/Angular) for collaboration.
• Proficient with MongoDB database management and optimization.
• Experience with AI integration, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools.

Back-End Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for our server-side applications using Python and Fast API.

• Fast API & Cloud Integration: Develop high-performance APIs with Fast API, integrating with AWS cloud services such as SQS and Lambda.
• Front-End Development: Build engaging and responsive user interfaces using front-end technologies including React JS and Angular JS.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize data storage solutions using MongoDB.
• AI Integration & Prompt Engineering: Utilize experience in prompt engineering (system prompts & user prompts) and AI-driven development tools like GitHub Co-pilot and Cursor to enhance development efficiency and integrate AI features into applications.
• System Architecture & DevOps knowledge: In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (Object Oriented programming, design patterns, development, and deployment) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Performance & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot existing scripts, perform point bug fixes, and conduct application performance tuning and resource usage optimization.
• Collaboration & Agile Methodologies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile and Scrum environment, utilizing tools like Jira and Git for project and task tracking.
