Job summary

Innominds Software in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer specializing in automation to join our QA team. You will design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts for REST APIs, Web UI, and OS-level tasks.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in software testing with 4+ years in automation, strong Python (PyTest) or Robot Framework skills, plus exposure to Citrix, VMware Horizon, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of Software Testing experience with 4+ years in test automation.
• Strong Python (PyTest) and/or Robot Framework expertise.
• Experience with REST API, Web UI, and OS-level automation.
• Scripting in Shell/Bash and Linux troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on with Endpoint Management and Thin Client Management solutions.
• Knowledge of Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft AVD, networking (DHCP, DNS) and cloud (Azure/AWS).
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Xray, or TestRail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks.
• Validate REST API, Web UI, and OS-level automation coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira/Zephyr/Xray/TestRail.
• Troubleshoot Linux environments and shell scripting issues.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance test generation and defect analysis.

Role & responsibilities

• 6-8 years of Software Testing experience with 4+ years in Test Automation.
• Strong expertise in Python (PyTest) and/or Robot Framework.
• Experience with REST API, Web UI, and OS-level automation.
• Strong Shell/Bash scripting and Linux troubleshooting skills.

AI & GenAI Skills (Preferred / Strongly Desired)

• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, ChatGPT, or similar platforms.
• Strong prompting skills to accelerate test automation script creation, test case generation, framework enhancement, code reviews, and defect analysis.
• Experience leveraging GenAI for intelligent test generation, automation optimization, self-healing automation, log analysis, and quality engineering productivity improvements.
