Job summary

Radisson Blu Hotel Guwahati is seeking a Purchase Manager who will drive strategic sourcing, optimize procurement processes, and deliver cost savings while maintaining quality and service standards.

You will collaborate with operations and regional teams, lead supplier negotiations, and implement global contracts to support multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of successful sourcing in cross-cultural environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
• Demonstrated negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Strong organizational and accountability skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement sourcing strategies across multiple countries in Central, Southern and Eastern Europe.
• Manage suppliers' performance with a focus on continuous total cost control and performance improvements.
• Engage cross-functionally and with local business leaders as a strategic partner to drive down costs while enhancing customer experience, product quality and productivity.
• Provide continuous support to Operations to increase compliance.
• Establish a strategy to source different product families ensuring cost savings while maintaining quality.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high quality, reliable supply.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and SLAs with suppliers per Corporate Procurement Policies and RHG.
• Lead issues with suppliers in terms of quality, delivery, costs and align with internal partners.
• Collaborate with Corporate procurement team to implement global contracts in the Area.

Purchase Manager

• As a Purchase Manager, you infuse our strategic sourcing endeavors with a heightened sense of ambition, a focus on delivering results, and a genuine passion for optimizing our procurement processes. Your dynamic approach and dedication significantly contribute to the success of our procurement team.

Your tasks, duties and responsibilities

• Implement effective sourcing strategies for different kind of goods and services across multiple countries in Central, Southern and Eastern Europe.
• Manage suppliers´ performance with a focus on continuous total cost control and performance, definedimprovement and innovation.
• Actively engagecross-functionally and with local business leaders as a strategic partner to drive down costs while enhancing customers' experience, product quality and productivity.
• Continuous support to Operations team in his area, increasing compliance.
• Establish an overall strategy to source different families of products and services ensuring cost savings while maintaining and improving quality. The key parameter being Total Cost of ownership.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers partnering to solve problems and ensure high quality, reliable sources of supply and information.
• Effectively negotiate pricing, contracts and SLAs with suppliers to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply according to the Corporate Procurement Policies and Procedures for RHG.
• Operate as the leader for all issues with suppliers in terms of quality, delivery service, costs and ensure alignment with allinternal partners.
• Work very closely with the Corporate procurement team in HQ, implementing global contracts in the Area.
