Job summary

talentwaveservice is seeking an experienced Purchase Head for the machining industry in India. The role requires strong knowledge of costing, drawing analysis, vendor management and procurement processes to support manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities include handling complete purchasing activities, vendor development, costing and drawing analysis, and ensuring timely procurement with cost control. 15+ years of experience is preferred and a B.Tech in Mechanical is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of costing and drawing analysis.
• Experience in vendor management and procurement processes for manufacturing.
• 15+ years of relevant experience with machining industry.
• Knowledge of raw material and machining-related purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Handle complete purchase and procurement activities.
• Develop and manage vendor base and relationships.
• Perform costing and drawing analysis for parts and projects.
• Manage raw material and machining-related purchases.
• Coordinate with production and management teams.
