About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Pulmonologist to join our esteemed team of specialists. The incumbent will be responsible for providing comprehensive care in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of respiratory and sleep-related disorders, with a strong focus on patient‑centric treatment and advanced clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with respiratory diseases including asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, and pulmonary infections.
  • Manage and interpret advanced diagnostic tests such as spirometry, bronchoscopy, sleep studies, pleural procedures, and pulmonary function tests.
  • Provide expertise in managing critical care cases, including respiratory failure, ventilator support, and complex ICU patients.
  • Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams (intensivists, cardiologists, oncologists, and thoracic surgeons) for integrated patient care.
  • Handle emergency respiratory cases, including acute asthma, pulmonary embolism, and severe pneumonia.
  • Participate in clinical research, teaching, and mentoring of residents, fellows, and junior medical staff.
  • Ensure adherence to evidence‑based practices, hospital protocols, and national/international clinical guidelines.
  • Contribute to CME programs, awareness campaigns, and public health initiatives in respiratory medicine.
  • Maintain high standards of medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and safety.
Qualifications & Experience
  • MD/DNB in General Medicine followed by DM/DNB/DTCD in Pulmonology/Respiratory Medicine from a recognized institution.
  • Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology or Critical Care (mandatory).
  • Minimum 10 years of post‑specialization experience in a reputed tertiary care hospital.
  • Proven expertise in performing interventional pulmonary procedures (bronchoscopy, thoracoscopy, biopsies, etc.).
