Royal Bank of Scotland in Bengaluru seeks an Infrastructure Engineer for Database Platforms at VP level to design self-service database products and drive automation for cloud environments.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll take the lead on designing intuitive, self-service database products that make all the difference to our customers, as well as our strategic targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a highly innovative and supportive environment.
You’ll collaborate with product owners to create roadmaps and manage the lifecycle, taking customer feedback, new feature requests and production issues into consideration. As you continue to manage the selection, creation and maintenance of database-related technologies, you’ll ensure that our solutions comply with the bank's requirements and responsibilities.
You’ll also:
To thrive in this role, you'll have experience in software development or automation scripting, such as Python or Shell. You’ll be knowledgeable about the software development lifecycle, with experience of utilising modern infrastructure as code via tooling.
We’ll expect you to bring a good understanding of Agile working practices and toolsets, with the ability to create the vision for the Release Train, feature team, platform and domain.
