Job summary

Caressant Care is seeking a passionate Personal Support Worker to join our Ontario care team in Arthur. This part-time role offers a starting wage of $30.79 per hour, with terms aligned to the Collective Agreement.

Applicants must hold a PSW certificate meeting the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act; strong English reading/writing, interpersonal and communication skills, and reliability are essential. A Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is required.

What You Bring

• Certificate of a Personal Support Worker program that meets the requirements of the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act and its regulations
• Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction
• Able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position
• Geriatric, long-term care experience is beneficial
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills, able to read and write in the English language
• Punctual and reliable

The starting rate of pay is $30.79 per hour, and the terms and conditions are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
