Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Lead PMC professional to drive PSS and EHV/UHV transmission line projects with tight coordination across clients, contractors, and PMO teams. The role emphasizes schedule adherence, quality, HSE, and timely readiness for energization and HOTO.

Responsibilities include consolidating inputs from engineering, procurement, and construction, escalating blockers, and delivering authoritative package recommendations to the Program Director and client representatives.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, Power Systems or related Engineering discipline.
• Project Management qualification preferred.
• Experience leading PMC monitoring for PSS and EHV/UHV transmission projects.

• Lead PMC discipline priorities for PSS and EHV/UHV transmission line projects.
• Coordinate contractors, Client, utility, PMO leads and discipline engineers for schedule, quality, HSE, design, material and commissioning interfaces.
• Review package risks, resources, recovery actions, energization readiness and HOTO preparedness.
• Consolidate planning, technical, quality, HSE, commercial, SCM and document-control inputs into package recommendations.
• Escalate issues affecting milestones and back-charging or grid interface.
• Submit verified package status and readiness recommendations to Program Director and Client representatives.

Job Description

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead PSS (Pooling Substation) and EHV/UHV transmission line PMC discipline priorities, site coordination and reporting cadence.
• Coordinate contractors, Client, utility, PMO functional leads and discipline engineers for schedule, quality, HSE, design, material and commissioning interfaces.
• Review package risks, constraints, resource adequacy, recovery actions, energization readiness and HOTO preparedness.
• Consolidate planning, technical, quality, HSE, commercial, SCM and document-control inputs into package recommendations.
• Escalate unresolved issues affecting back-charging, line charging, grid interface, commissioning or contractual milestones.
• Submit verified package status and readiness recommendations to Program Director and Client representatives.

Principal Client-Facing Outputs

• PSS & T/L package weekly and monthly status report.
• Critical constraint, interface and escalation register.
• Back-charging, energization, commissioning and HOTO readiness recommendation.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, Power Systems or related Engineering discipline; Project Management qualification preferred.

Additional Information

• Lead PMC monitoring for PSS and EHV/ UHV transmission line up to Khavda Pooling Station, covering progress, interfaces, quality, HSE, charging readiness and HOTO.
• Owns package PMC coordination and recommendations; EPC/contractor remains responsible for execution, testing records and rectification, while Client/utility retains approval authority.
