Job summary

Exxon Mobil is looking for a skilled professional in Bengaluru with a strong background in regulatory compliance related to chemicals and environmental safety. Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields and have experience with various chemical management regulations. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and registrations
  • Analyse poison centre notifications and product registration requirements
  • Analyse SDS distribution gap reports and support corrective actions as applicable
  • Add local regulations (German Water hazard class, Nordic country & Switzerland registration details in SDS sec #15 > Regulatory information to finalize country specific SDSs as applicable)
  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries related to product safety and compliance
  • Manage country-specific or regional reporting obligations
  • Answer questions from external customers and colleagues related to Product safety regulations
  • Drive continuous process improvement by reinforcing best practices and identifying enhancement opportunities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, environmental sciences, chemical engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with REACH, TSCA, WGK other chemical management regulations in various world areas
  • Previous product stewardship or regulatory compliance experience
  • Good command of English language (written and spoken) and computer literacy
  • Product knowledge from chemicals / Lubricants / Oil & Gas industries as well as product stewardship experience would be beneficial
  • 5-10% travel (domestic and international)
