Job summary

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned primary-grade subjects in line with the school curriculum and academic plan.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, assignments and classroom activities.
• Use age-appropriate, interactive teaching strategies to support understanding and participation.
• Assess student learning through classwork, homework, projects, tests and observations.
• Track student progress, maintain accurate academic records and provide timely feedback.
• Identify learning gaps and provide suitable support or enrichment activities.
• Maintain a positive, orderly and inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity and confidence.
• Support students’ social-emotional development and reinforce school values and routines.
• Communicate with parents regarding academic progress, attendance and areas requiring support.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, school functions and other academic responsibilities.
