Qualifications

Role Description

The PRT EVS (Primary Teacher – Environmental Studies) will be responsible for teaching EVS to primary school learners, using engaging, age-appropriate methods that build curiosity about the environment, society, and everyday life. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, preparing teaching aids, maintaining lesson plans and records, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves managing classroom activities, creating an inclusive and safe learning environment, coordinating with other teachers for interdisciplinary projects, and communicating regularly with parents or guardians about student development. The teacher will also participate in school events, assemblies, and co-curricular initiatives related to EVS themes such as sustainability, community awareness, and social responsibility. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Birla Open Minds International School Ambikapur.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Environmental Studies and child-centric teaching skills for primary grades.
• Candidates should possess skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
