Job summary

Tata Elxsi in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded systems engineer to lead FWA integration and modem support on broadband platforms. You will own the WAN failover, work with OEMs, and drive build tooling integration, ensuring reliable routing and platform stability.

The role requires deep Linux embedded knowledge, hands-on experience with PrplOS/OWRT, and strong collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams on trials and releases.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience with FWA integration on broadband gateways.
• Knowledge of LTE / 4G / 5G cellular networks.
• Experience with PrplOS/OWRT or embedded broadband platforms.
• Strong Linux embedded system knowledge.
• Experience with Owrt/cmake build systems.
• Knowledge of modem drivers and interfaces (QMI, MBIM, AT).
• Understanding of routing, NAT, and WAN failover.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead FWA integration on PrplOS/OWRT platforms.
