The ideal candidate will study RFQs, prepare high-quality proposals, and collaborate cross-functionally to gather necessary inputs. Timeliness and adherence to standardized processes are crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Study RFQs and prepare technical and commercial offers/bids in compliance with the specifications.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate and high-quality proposals to the sales team.
• Follow standardized proposal processes and formats; use approved templates and checklists.
• Respond promptly to customer queries related to proposals.
• Develop and improve quotation templates to ensure consistency and professional standards.
• Ensure commercial and contractual compliance within all proposal submissions.
• Complete all formats and documentation accurately, with appropriate supporting materials.
• Coordinate with the Solution Architect to ensure alignment of technical solutions with RFQ requirements.
• Review proposals with the Proposal Manager and Sales Leader to meet submission deadlines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to gather necessary inputs for bid compilation.

The Proposal Engineer is responsible for the compilation of services, materials, buyouts, and other proposal components which are required to be submitted to the customer. This includes pricing, payment terms, cash flow, commercial compliance, and proposal basis terms and conditions.
