Job summary

HBSPL is seeking a Prompt Engineer to design, test, and refine prompts for LLMs, ensuring prompts yield accurate and relevant AI outputs. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate prompts into applications and improve workflows.

Freshers and experienced professionals are welcome; BE/B.Tech/B.Sc preferred. Knowledge of Python and APIs is a plus. Hybrid work options available across locations in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BE, B.Tech and B.Sc preferred.
• Strong interest in generative AI and prompt design.
• Practical experience or certifications in AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

About the Prompt Engineer Role

HBSPL is looking for a Prompt Engineer to develop and refine prompts that help AI models generate accurate, relevant, and useful responses. The role involves working with Large Language Models (LLMs), testing prompt strategies, evaluating AI-generated outputs, and improving the performance of generative AI applications. You will collaborate with technical teams to create effective AI-driven solutions for practical business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, test, and refine prompts for Large Language Models and generative AI applications.

• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, consistency, and quality.
• Experiment with different prompt techniques to improve model performance.
• Work with developers and data teams to integrate AI models into applications and workflows.
• Identify incorrect, inconsistent, or irrelevant outputs and suggest improvements.
• Document prompt templates, testing results, and optimization methods.
• Support the development of AI-powered tools, chatbots, and content generation solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, language models, and prompt engineering practices.

Required Skills

• Strong written communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of prompt engineering concepts and generative AI tools.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-generated content evaluation.
• Basic knowledge of Python and APIs is an advantage.

Educational Qualification

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BE, B.Tech and B.Sc or a related field is preferred. Relevant projects, certifications, or practical experience with AI tools are an added advantage.

Experience

Freshers with a strong interest in generative AI, prompt design, and AI tools can apply. Candidates with experience in prompt engineering, LLM applications, AI testing, or AI-powered workflow development are also encouraged to apply.
