Job summary

Qualifications

B.Sc. Optometry with 3 years of experience or M.Sc. Optometry.
Experience in optometry evaluations on children, willingness to undergo training in retinal image capture in neonates using RetCam.

Responsibilities

To administer eye drops (pupillary dilatation and analgesic).
To do external eye examination, speculum application, collection of RetCam images, and record in proforma.
To administer antibiotic drops post-procedure.
To transfer images to the desktop and coordinate with the ophthalmologist for image analysis.
To report the findings to the family members and follow-up of neonate till 7 days post-procedure.
To maintain records.
