Job description

The Project Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role that applies in‑depth disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes and workflow. The individual integrates subject‑matter and industry expertise within a defined area, understanding how various functions collectively integrate and contribute to overall business objectives. They evaluate moderately complex, variable issues with significant impact, weighing alternatives and balancing conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Strong analytical, communication, diplomacy, and informal/formal leadership skills are required, along with the ability to coach and train new recruits. The role has significant impact on project size, geography, and decision‑making through advice, counsel, and facilitation of services to other specialists. Performance of all teams in the area is directly affected by the performance of this individual.

Responsibilities

• Ensure creation of project plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log for AI programs
• Identify key stakeholders who will participate in project scope definition and document project dependencies
• Ensure appropriate resources are assigned to the project and monitor commitment
• Ensure change control is executed throughout the project
• Prior experience in managing
• Establish project communication needs and support creation of a project communication plan
• Track actual project costs, identify variances, and reforecast costs as needed
• Measure project management performance against standards
• Create the project risk management plan
• Work with procurement team to create, administer, track, and eventually close project contracts
• Apply in‑depth disciplinary knowledge to resolve issues
• Show the ability to operate with limited direct supervision
• Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency
