Cushman & Wakefield in Gurugram is seeking a Project Planning Manager to lead planning, scheduling, and project controls for large-scale building construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and robust performance management.
The role requires a civil engineering degree with 12-18 years of experience in project planning, strong Primavera P6 and MS Project skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Project Planning Manager
Lead the planning, scheduling, project controls, and performance management functions for large-scale building construction projects. The role is responsible for ensuring effective project monitoring, forecasting, risk management, progress tracking, and timely project delivery through robust planning and controls processes.
Develop and manage integrated project schedules, resource-loaded plans, project baselines, and recovery programs for large building construction projects.
Monitor project progress, critical paths, milestones, productivity, earned value, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Lead cost control, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, risk analysis, delay analysis, and change management processes.
Prepare and present project dashboards, MIS reports, executive summaries, and progress reviews for senior management and clients.
Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, and site teams to drive project performance and timely project completion.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 12-18 years of experience in project planning and controls for large-scale building construction projects.
Strong expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, project scheduling, resource planning, cost control, earned value management (EVM), and progress measurement systems.
Proven experience working on institutional projects such as university campuses, schools, colleges, hospitals, commercial complexes, airports, or large mixed-use developments.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, delay analysis, risk management, project reporting, and stakeholder management.
Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and team management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project teams.
