Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Support the PIU in implementation of the Uttar Pradesh Leather & Footwear Policy by providing domain expertise across the value chain, including technical evaluation of investment proposals (tanning, footwear, leather goods, components), assessment of machinery and manufacturing processes, and policy alignment for incentives; the role also involves driving investor facilitation, supporting cluster and ecosystem development, engaging with industry stakeholders and global brands, and generating sector insights through research on exports, competitiveness, and market trends, while advising on sustainability and compliance (especially for leather units) and contributing to overall investment promotion and policy outcomes.
