Job summary

TNQTech in Tamil Nadu is seeking a dedicated Project Management - Books professional to handle end-to-end workflow from manuscript submission to publication. The role requires close interaction with authors, publishers, reviewers and editors to maintain smooth communication and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in books management or production editing within the STM publishing sector, strong project management, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of books management or production editor experience.
• Experience in STM publishing industry.
• Ability to coordinate with authors, publishers, reviewers, editors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to engage with stakeholders.
• Office-based role (No Hybrid / No Remote).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects from manuscript submission to publication.
• Liaise with authors, publishers, reviewers, editors to ensure workflow.
• Oversee and optimize the production process.
• Identify gaps in production workflow and rectify per client guidelines.

• Coordinate all aspects of the books management process, from manuscript submission to publication.
• Actively liaise with authors, publishers, reviewers, and editors to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Oversee and optimize the production process.
• Identify gaps or issues in the production workflow and rectify them according to the specific guidelines of our clients.

Candidate profile:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in books management or production editor role, specifically within the STM publishing industry.
• Proven track record of effectively coordinating with authors, publishers, reviewers, and editors in a fast-paced publishing environment.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to actively engage with stakeholders throughout the publication process.
• Candidate should be ready to work at office set up (No Hybrid / No Remote)
