Job summary

Nuvo AI in Gujarat, India, is seeking a seasoned software project manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams across software platforms and scientific applications. You will translate scientific requirements into technical tasks and manage timelines, dependencies, risks, releases, and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience coordinating developers, data scientists, chemists and scientists, with strong backend project understanding and agile/Scrum practices using Jira/Confluence.

• Experience managing software development projects in scientific or drug-discovery contexts.
• Ability to translate scientific requirements into actionable development tasks.

About the Role

Must-have experience Project management in Software Development Experience working on software platforms or scientific applications Strong understanding of drug-discovery workflows Experience coordinating Software Developers, Data Scientists, Computational Biologists/Chemists and Scientists Strong backend/software project understanding Ability to convert scientific requirements → technical requirements → development tasks Experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks, releases and stakeholders Drug Discovery knowledge Prefer candidates who understand at least some of modern drug-discovery platforms increasingly combine computational chemistry, AI/ML, biological data and software workflows—for example, Schrödinger's LiveDesign integrates computational modeling, experimental data and collaboration, while newer platforms are combining docking, molecular dynamics and AI workflows.
