Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional for interior finishes and architectural fitouts in Mumbai. The role focuses on quality inspections, compliance with drawings and codes, and leading defect and NCR processes on-site.

You will coordinate with consultants, clients and site teams to ensure premium materials are correctly installed and documented. The candidate should have 10-12 years in construction, a BE Civil or related degree, and

Responsabilidades

• Ensure site work matches approved drawings, method statements and codes.
• Lead snagging and de-snagging, track NCRs and corrective actions.
• Oversee handling and installation of premium materials.
• Guide subcontractor performance to meet quality standards.
• Maintain detailed quality records and inspection checklists.
• Lead mock-up inspections for guestroom and retail storefronts.
• Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports to contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Inspections: Check all finishing works (painting, tiling, cladding, joinery, and false ceilings) before, during, and after execution.
• Compliance Management: Ensure site work matches approved drawings, method statements, and local building codes. [1]
• Defect Management: Lead snagging and de-snagging processes, track non-conformance reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective actions happen fast. [1]
• High-End Material Inspection: Oversee the handling, storage, and installation of premium materials like book-matched marble, bespoke joinery, and architectural glass.
• Subcontractor Oversight: Guide and monitor subcontractor performance to meet contract quality standards.
• Documentation: Keep detailed quality records, inspection checklists, and material test reports updated.
• Mock-up Approvals: Lead the inspection and approval of guestroom and retail storefront mock-ups to establish the definitive benchmark for mass production.
• NCR Issuance & Tracking: Issue formal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to third‑party contractors for defective finishing work and track their rectification progress.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 10-12 years in the construction industry, with a strong focus on interior finishes and architectural fitouts.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of finishing materials, application methods, and defect prevention.
• Standards Familiarity: Knowledge of international and local quality standards (such as ISO 9001, ASTM, or IS/BS codes).
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and clear communication to coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams.
• Independent Auditing: Proven experience conducting objective, independent site inspections without reliance on the contractor's internal staff.
