The candidate should have 7+ years of project management experience, fluency in delivering IT operations, and expertise in SAFe/agile frameworks.

Qualifications

• Graduate/PG in a relevant field with 7+ years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Airbus is looking for a Project Leader also experienced in Scrum Master Role to join the Bangalore, India location.

The individual will be a part of the Digital (D) function and is responsible for the day to day project management of the DMU Services team primarily. Success of this position will require strong international collaboration with local & global engineering.

Qualification & Experience:

Graduate/Post Graduate with 7+ years of experience in Project management/leading Projects, IT Operations Management with following criteria:

Expert level:

• Leadership skills & Project Management
• Experience in handling & managing multiple operations teams
• Ability to develop, engage and motivate people
• Service Delivery Management
• Scrum Master Role & activities
• Enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies

Intermediate level:

• Min 2 years of scrum master role
• Product Lifecycle Management
• Business process analysis experience with technical support, Risk management
• Knowledge on Agile/ SAFe principle mandate
• Understanding of the ITSM tools like ServiceNow and Service delivery architecture mandate
• Ability to shift between domains and multi-skills experience is highly desirable.
• Professional Networking skills
• Managing Suppliers and Vendors

Others:

• Quality management System awareness is desirable
• Willingness to travel for short term to Europe
• Knowledge of Aerospace domain, especially in Communication and IT supplier management

Responsibilities:

• Hold the full responsibility to lead & manage the cross functional teams along with subcontractors in India in right direction to achieve the success and drive service delivery while aligning with overall objective for the perimeter
• Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.
• Develop autonomy in team and build accountability to delivery services with quality
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with team to optimize the IT operations
• Manage and monitor KPIs and SLAs while ensuring right level of communication to stakeholders
• Lead the team using a performance management and development process with the right training program.
• Continuous providing of effective feedback to team members, stakeholders & build a cordial relationship amongst all.
• Work with the business counterparts from Europe & India to build right strategy for team, roadmaps for minimum 1 year, visibility across teams
• Manage and Escalate on time with proposed mitigation/corrective action if service delivery is not meeting expectation
• Coach, mentor, provide oversight and direction to the team accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
• Develop the team to take the delegation and empower them to take responsibility for their jobs and goals
• Maintain transparent and appropriate communication with the team
• Responsible for budget management of the perimeter
• Ability to understand and support:
  • IT Enablement processes
  • Supplier enablement and support within their scope
• Ability to upskill if required
• Work alongside Scrum Teams, ensuring timely delivery of features within budget and quality to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Effectively guide and facilitate the sprint ceremonies to consistently achieve the sprint goals.
• Protect scrum teams from outside distractions, impediments or team conflicts, and maintain focus on product backlog and project timeline.
• Exhibit servant leadership to serve the scrum team and the larger organisation.
• Ensure that sprint deliverables are adhering to the Quality and regulatory guidelines
• Experience with conflict resolution, scope management, issue & risk tracking, communicating to clients and partners and vendor management
• Ability to provide solutions, determine overall design direction and provide recommendations for complex issues
• Responsible to maintain the agreed SLA/OLAs
