Ergomed Group is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to monitor project profitability and financial performance across global projects. You will work with Project Managers and operational teams to understand project economics and contribute to forecasting and margin analysis.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent education and experience.
• Demonstatedrelevant finance or accounting experience, project accounting/analysis a plus.
• Pharmaceutical or CRO experience is preferable.
• Strong proficiency in English.
• Proficiency with accounting software packages.
• Experience with Oracle Finance is preferred.
• Knowledge in financial modelling techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in tracking operational progress of projects, ensuring accurate unit tracking each month.
• Support revenue tracking activities and assist in identifying scope changes.
• Contribute to budget and proposal preparation by assisting with costing outputs that support revenue recognition and project performance monitoring.
• Work with senior team members on proposal mapping, exchange rate considerations, and unit-based bid structures.
• Support the creation of payment schedules and volume-based discount schedules for proposals and contracts under supervision.

Job Description

Support the Project Finance team in monitoring project profitability and financial performance. Work alongside Project Managers and operational project teams to develop a foundational understanding of project economics, including tracking forecasts, identifying risks to margins, and learning process improvements. Assist in monitoring project cash positions including services, PTCs, grants, outstanding invoices, and advances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers in tracking operational progress of projects, ensuring accurate unit tracking each month. Support monitoring of actual performance against budgeted tasks, and help identify risks, inefficiencies, and deviations from scope. Escalate findings to senior team members for review and discussion.
• Support revenue tracking activities and assist in identifying scope changes. Learn to analyze cost-to-complete forecasts and their impact on project margins under guidance from senior analysts.
• Contribute to budget and proposal preparation by assisting with costing outputs that support revenue recognition and project performance monitoring. Work with senior team members on proposal mapping, exchange rate considerations, and unit-based bid structures.
• Support the creation of payment schedules and volume-based discount schedules for proposals and contracts under supervision, ensuring alignment with budgeted resources.
• Attend operational project team meetings and contribute financial observations. Participate in monthly Project Management meetings, learning to communicate financial insights on project issues.
• Assist with departmental budget development, quarterly revenue forecasting, backlog reconciliation, and support internal and external financial audit activities.
