Job summary

JobItUs is hiring a Project Engineer for locations in Vadodara and Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role requires 2–5 years of BE/B.Tech./M.Tech in electrical/instrumentation/electronics and hands-on PLC/SCADA experience with Rockwell, Siemens or Schneider hardware.

The engineer will handle on-site FAT/SAT/commissioning, coordinate with clients, and support instrument and control system selection per customer specs. Travel readiness is essential for client engagement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider hardware and PLC/HMI/SCADA programming.
• Experience in FAT/SAT/commissioning for PLC-based control systems on site.
• Familiarity with field instruments, sensors, transmitters and valves.
• Experience with various communication protocols and design tools.

• Support on-site FAT/SAT/commissioning activities for control systems.

Job Description

Experience & Knowledge Requirements:

• Detailed or working knowledge of various Rockwell, Siemens, and Schneider hardware & PLC/HMI/SCADA programming in all languages (STL, FBD, Ladder, etc.).
• Should have independently done on-site support activities like FAT/SAT/commissioning for PLC-based control systems.
• Knowledge of field instruments like sensors, transmitters, controllers (embedded and/or other PLCs), and valves.
• Knowledge and experience of handling/configuring various communication protocols.
• It's good to have working knowledge of design software like AutoCAD Electrical/E-plan as well as Ms Office Excel.
• Study the customer specifications related to instrumentation and control systems for the selection of control systems and field instruments.
• Coordination with clients/consultants and suppliers for technical discussions and document approval processes.
• Upon requirement, should be able to coordinate and manage with the management trainee to meet the customer’s engineering support requirement.

Experience Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech./M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics/E&TC with 2-5 years

Must be proficient in

• Programming skills for Siemens/Rockwell/Schneider PLCs
• FAT/SAT/Commissioning of control panels.
