We are looking for: Systems Engineer - Project Engineer - AIS Switchgear

• Analyze customers' Medium Voltage switchgear requirements to develop detailed design engineering essential for the review and manufacture of switchgear.
• Prepare electrical drawing packages (including panel arrangements, nameplate schedule, schematic diagrams, communication drawings, three-line diagrams, general arrangement drawings, and wiring diagrams) for factory manufacturing of the switchgear and customer documentation using CAD software.
• Work directly with project engineers to create product solutions meeting customers’ expectations in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Work directly with the manufacturing teams, addressing any challenges as they produce your designs.
• Initiate and support product as well as process improvements through cross-team collaboration.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Proven 10+ years of experience working with the design/configuration of electrical power distribution products and systems. Preference given to experience with switchgear.
• Strong working knowledge of standard protection and control technologies used in medium voltage power distribution products with proven ability to share this knowledge with others.
• Ability to analyse customers’ technical specifications regarding the application of protection and control systems and apply appropriate product solutions to meet the customers’ expectations in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Read, understand, and evaluate electrical schematics.
• Multitask and manage large workloads and business demands.
