Opportunity Type: Remote

Placement Type: Full Time Contract for 10 Months (40 hrs a week/160 hrs a month)

Leading Publishing Company is looking for:

We are a South Africa–based education development and publishing company specialising in the design, coordination, and delivery of large‑scale, internationally benchmarked learning programmes. We lead complex, multi‑stakeholder education projects aligned to global frameworks such as CEFR, working with international subject‑matter experts, publishers, designers, and digital production teams.

Role Overview

The Project Coordinator plays a central operational and coordination role in the delivery of a high‑value, international English Language Development Programme (ELDP). The role requires strong organisational capability, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to maintain full visibility of project progress at all times. The Project Coordinator acts as the primary coordination and communication conduit between the client and our Company.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Representation
  • Represent our Company in weekly project meetings with the client and external stakeholders
  • Act as the primary conduit between the client and our Company, ensuring clear, accurate, and professional communication
  • Translate client feedback, decisions, and priorities into structured internal actions and follow‑ups
Project Oversight & Status Management
  • Maintain a real‑time understanding of project status across all workstreams
  • Track progress against approved timelines, milestones, and dependencies
  • Proactively identify risks, delays, or misalignments and elevate appropriately
  • Provide concise, structured status updates to internal leads and senior management
Project Coordination & Administration
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities across internal teams and external consultants
  • Work closely with the Project Administrator to schedule and manage meetings
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers, and version control
Quality Assurance & Process Support
  • Support structured review and QA cycles by consolidating feedback and tracking revisions
  • Ensure edits and updates are implemented time‑sously and in line with agreed briefs and workflows
Essential
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Strong project coordination and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication at a professional, international standard
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and project‑tracking tools
Advantageous
  • Experience in education, publishing, or curriculum development projects
  • Exposure to international or multi‑stakeholder programmes
  • Arabic‑speaking ability (written and/or verbal)
