Job summary

Hitachi Energy India is seeking a Project Controller to provide active business partnering to project management, manage forecasts, risks, and opportunities, and ensure timely closing tasks. The role also covers trade compliance activities and master data processes.

The ideal candidate holds a commerce degree (BCom/MCom/CMA) with 4+ years in project control, strong SAP experience, and leadership skills. Local statutory and process guidelines apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in commerce or CMA preferred.
• 4+ years of project controlling or related experience.
• Strong SAP FI/CO/PS knowledge and MS Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Project Controlling – provide active business partnering to project management, challenge assumptions, forecasts and execution plans, monitor deviations, identify risks and opportunities.
• Sales Handover – support Sales and Project Management in commercial handovers including scope, pricing, costing, risks and opportunities.
• Process improvements – identify areas of improvement and define/execution of improvement initiatives with cross-functional support.
• Monthly and quarterly closing – perform regular closing tasks within area of responsibility.
• Internal controls – ensure SOX compliance.
• Budgeting & Forecasting – contribute to monthly forecasts of Revenues and profits; assist in annual budgeting.
• Perform country of origin calculations towards trade compliance requirements.
• End-to-End Master Data processes for Deliveries and Trade Compliance.
• Adhere to project controlling processes; ensure FARM guidelines.

Knowledge skills and Experience

• BCom/MCom/CMA, with Project control Experience of at least 4 years.


• Strong experience in project controlling activities in an industrial manufacturing environment. Ideally in GIS manufacturing business.


• Experience in project and systems business is considered an advantage


• Strong leadership skills


• Profound know-how of SAP (FI/CO/PS) and MS Office, especially MS Excel


• Min 5 years of experience in the field


• Ability to work on multiple projects and to deliver quality results on time
