Key job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement well-organized, maintainable code using optimal data structures and algorithms, ensuring solutions are correct, scalable, and customer-focused.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and software issues by diagnosing root causes, assessing urgency, and mitigating impact while applying available tools and resources effectively.
• Collaborate across teams to define requirements, negotiate priorities, and deliver technical solutions that meet business needs — regularly making trade-offs between time, quality, and resources.
• Identify and optimize operational procedures and best practices, contributing to the long-term reliability and performance of systems and services your team owns.
• Evaluate when and how to integrate generative artificial intelligence tools into workflows, refining outputs and applying responsible practices to improve productivity and solution quality.

You will start your day reviewing code changes and participating in technical discussions with your team. From there, you might spend time writing and testing new features, debugging a production issue, or pairing with a teammate on a design review.
